Our day at The Getty and night at the Pub

Craig and I took Friday off to enjoy a day of art and music! We spent the afternoon in L.A with my parents visiting the Getty Art Museum and munching on fabulous food at California Pizza Kitchen. In the evening we attended the gig of our friends' band, Microjelly, at the Bulldog Pub in Upland.

Microjelly's next gig is Saturday July 11, 2009 at the Bunny Gunner Gallery in Pomona, which is also the 2nd Saturday of the month when Pomona has its monthly Art Walk! Definitely worth checking out! Lots of new art to see as well as free wine and hors d'oeuvres...

Baby Jacob

Saturday morning, Beka and I headed up into the high desert to take photos of Baby Jacob (and family!). He's almost four months old now and super cute! I particularly like the shot of his tiny little hand grabbing onto dad's finger. We love taking baby pictures!

Craig and Natalie

Last night Beka and I photographed the wedding of Natalie and Craig. This was particularly fun because this is the THIRD wedding we've been at with them. At Chris and Rachel's wedding, we remembered them because they were such great dancers. At Matt and Liz's wedding, Natalie was instrumental in many aspects of getting ready and preparation for the wedding, so either Beka or I were around her almost the entire day. At her own wedding, I even heard her saying that it was great because she got to do all of the hair and makeup for her own bridesmaids :)

So after photographing them at two other weddings, and doing their engagement photos, we were happy to actually get to photograph their wedding. It was a beautiful event and everyone clearly had a great time. The only thing is... there are no other weddings coming up that we expect to see these three couples at again. We're going to miss them!
